We're keeping a close eye on this young artist from Biarritz who is introducing the world to a totally new approach to art. While most people are content to build traditional sand castles, Sam takes advantage of low tide to create giant frescos, destined to disappear with the rising waves as the ocean reclaims its territory. Beach Art, as he calls it, is a discipline which is still only practiced by only a few artists; Sam is among the discipline’s trailblazers. In 2011, he won the World Beach Art Championships on Jersey Island.

Between tides and gusts of wind, Samuel Dougados unveils his masterpieces, which range from geometric drawings to rather abstract ones, but always seem to delight the beachgoers who happen upon them.
